ProMusica Chamber Orchestra’s annual Spring Soirée fundraising benefit and concert was held May 11 at the Westin Columbus. The evening , titled Shake It Up!, began with a gathering in the ballroom, featuring music by ProMusica musicians and food (including a taco station) provided by the Westin and Pistacia Vera. New this year was a raffle of eight prize packages and an impressive collection of wine. Winners received a trip to St. Croix, a real-life “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” experience, U.S. Open Tennis tickets and more. After the pre-party, guests made their way to the Southern Theatre to enjoy a concert featuring Three Mo’ Tenors. The event raised more than $130,000, which will be used to continue the artistic and educational mission of ProMusica, including innovative programs and performances, community concerts, school collaborations and outreach events. Around 300 people attended the Spring Soirée, and tickets were $150 to $350 per person. (Photos by Rick Buchanan Photography; IDs courtesy ProMusica.)
